A defiantly independent festival, that runs on community and creativity…
History.
Born from a backyard gathering between friends, Stowaway Festival has grown into a three-day escape, deep in the Buckinghamshire countryside. Explore a hidden world of ancient woodland, open fields, and shimmering lakes.
What started as a DIY party has evolved into a celebration of sound, creativity, and connection. We keep things intimate, independent, and a little bit wild — staying true to the spirit that started it all.
With a genre-blurring lineup, secret sets, and free activities for kids and families, Stowaway is about more than music — it’s a space to explore, unwind, and lose yourself in good company.
Now entering our fifth year, we’re still built by friends, for friends, and always will be. An underground adventure, to be discovered, not advertised.
Our Principles
-
Completely Independent
Stowaway is — and always will be — completely independent. Staying that way lets us make honest choices that put our community first.

-
We Celebrate Creativity
This isn’t just a festival—it’s a playground for our crew to grow. From first-time stage designers to community chefs, Stowaway is where ideas come to life.
We build it, we learn from it, we grow with it.

-
Built by friends, for friends.
Stowaway is created by people who deeply care. Care about the details, the atmosphere, and most of all, the people.
It’s for those who crave connection, community, and something real. A place where strangers become friends, and moments turn into memories.

Stowaway is more than a festival – it’s a hug that lasts all weekend. It’s for families, first-timers, old ravers, or just anyone who loves music that makes them feel. With legendary headlining acts, stunning immersive woodland stages, and activities for every age, you are guaranteed to leave buzzing, sunburnt and already planning your next visit.
