Content Creator & Community Manager
Content Creator & Community Manager – Music Festivals & Events
Job Description
Five brands. Distinct audiences. Plenty of stories to tell.
We’re looking for a creative, culturally switched-on Content Creator & Community Manager with a few years’ experience in event and/or venue marketing.
You’ll bring our festivals, events, venues and businesses to life throughout the year, creating content that captures their personality, builds communities and turns interest into ticket sales and bookings.
Our five brands span music festivals, motorsport camping, food and drink, wellbeing, venues and live events. One day you could be filming a DJ set in the woods; the next, shooting a café menu, interviewing an artist or documenting a festival taking shape in an empty field.
You’ll need a strong eye, sharp instincts and the confidence to get amongst it. Great content should capture how an experience feels—and give people a reason to be part of it.
What you’ll do
Create content: Plan, shoot and edit compelling photography and video for Instagram, TikTok and other channels, including Reels, Stories and behind-the-scenes features.
Tell our stories: Capture artists, crowds, food, atmosphere, site builds and the people who make our events happen.
Get people talking: Interview artists, customers, crew and partners, helping them feel comfortable and drawing out engaging stories.
Bring fresh ideas: Contribute to content planning, spot relevant trends and react quickly when an unexpected moment deserves capturing.
Build communities: Manage comments and messages, encourage conversation and help grow our WhatsApp communities.
Grow our affiliate programme: Run our customer ticket affiliate scheme day to day, supporting participants and keeping them engaged.
Develop each brand’s identity: Adapt your visuals, copy and approach to suit different audiences while maintaining a consistent voice for each brand.
Keep digital channels current: Update website content through Squarespace and support booking administration through Acuity.
Stay organised: Manage briefs, shot lists, deadlines and approvals through Asana, and maintain an accessible photo and video library.
Learn from results: Track content and community performance, using what you learn to improve engagement, audience growth, ticket sales and bookings.
Work collaboratively: Coordinate with our marketing team, photographers, videographers, artists and partners to deliver content for campaigns and partner commitments.
What we’re looking for
A few years’ previous experience in event and/or venue marketing, with hands-on responsibility for content creation and social media.
A portfolio or showreel demonstrating strong creative work, ideally with examples of the results it achieved.
Confidence shooting high-quality content on both a phone and camera, and editing efficiently in CapCut, Lightroom or similar tools.
A strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok, from content formats and trends to publishing and performance.
Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to write naturally in different brand voices.
Confident Canva skills and proficiency in Squarespace website updates.
Familiarity with Asana or a similar project management platform.
Confidence approaching, interviewing and directing people.
Strong organisation, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities across several brands.
A genuine interest in music, festivals, food, culture and live experiences.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during events, including busy days outdoors.
A full driving licence and access to your own car: this role is office-based at Blackpit Farm.
Nice to have
Experience with Acuity, Insta360 cameras, Adobe Creative Suite, photography, drone filming, influencers or affiliate programmes would be an advantage.
Why join us?
This is a chance to help shape the voice and visual identity of five distinctive brands, with access to artists, events, countryside spaces and a wealth of stories.
You’ll see your work move from an idea to a live campaign and experience the events and communities it helps build.
To apply, send your CV and portfolio or showreel, with a short introduction explaining why you’d be a good fit.
