SAFETY & WELFARE

  • We have medics on-site around the clock. If you’re feeling unwell just let a member of the team know and they will be happy to help.

If you have lost your child or friends, speak to a member of security or any member of our team they will be able to help reunite you with your loved ones.

If you find a lost child or vulnerable person please take them to a member of security or one of the festival team members.

  • We are lucky enough to have a beautiful swimming lake on-site for those who’d like to take part in some fresh water swimming. Whilst the lake is monitored by lifeguards, those who engage in water-based activities do so at their own risk. Please do not swim whilst under the influence of alcohol.

  • Strobes or lasers may be used at the event. There will be no announcements beforehand.

  • The festival does not condone the use or sale of controlled or illegal substances. Anyone found to be in breach of this policy will be dealt with as per the Terms & Conditions of entry.

Creating Safe Spaces for all…

Keeping everyone safe is at the heart of what we do – from our crew building the site with care, to the security and welfare teams looking out for festival-goers day and night. Whether it’s protecting your tents, offering first aid, or just making sure everyone feels comfortable, we want you to be able to let go and enjoy the weekend with confidence.

Stowaway is built on friendship, respect, and a shared love of adventure. Whoever you are, and wherever you come from, you’re welcome here. We celebrate individuality and expect everyone to treat others with kindness and integrity. There’s no place for discrimination, harassment, or any kind of harmful behaviour – this is a space for good people, good energy, and good times.

Look after yourself & others

Festivals are full-on fun. Sunshine (we hope!), miles of walking, camping, and dancing until the early hours. Take care of yourself and the people around you so everyone can stay happy and healthy all weekend.

A few simple ways to keep things smooth:

  • Make friends with your neighbours. A friendly hello goes a long way — you’ll be looking out for each other before you know it.

  • Bring a torch or headlamp. Some paths can get dark late at night.

  • Protect your ears. Music sounds better when you can still hear it next year! Little ones especially should wear ear defenders.

  • Stay sun-safe and hydrated. Even on cloudy days, sunscreen and water are your best friends.

  • Keep valuables safe. Only bring what you need and keep important items on you, not in your tent.

  • Plan a meeting spot. Phones die, crowds get busy — have a backup place to find your friends, or use the Woov app’s “Find My Friends” feature.

  • Ask for help if you need it. Our medical and welfare teams are here for you — no problem is too small.
