PR & INFLUENCER MANAGER

Freelance PR & Influencer Manager – Music Festivals & Events

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced freelance PR with bold ideas, someone who does more than send press releases and can create moments people talk about. You'll raise the profile of our festivals, events, venues and businesses through press, influencers and attention-grabbing PR stunts.

You'll work across five brands covering music festivals, motorsport camping, food and drink, wellbeing, venues and live events. Each brand has its own audience, personality and commercial goals. The job is to get results: coverage and buzz that sell tickets, drive bookings, grow audiences and deliver value for our partners.

What you’ll do

  • Invent PR stunts and activations: come up with and deliver creative, unexpected ideas that get our brands noticed and shared, then carry them from concept to execution.

  • Manage all influencer activity: find, recruit and manage influencers and creators across all brands, including briefs, agreements, guest lists, content deliverables and on-site hosting.

  • Build an influencer and creator network that fits each brand's audience, and keep those relationships going all year round.

  • Build and run PR plans in line with our marketing calendar, line-up announcements and ticket release dates.

  • Write and pitch stories, releases and features to music, lifestyle, regional and trade media.

  • Secure coverage, reviews, interviews and listings for our events and talent.

  • Manage press and influencer accreditation, and host media on site at major events.

  • Position our founders and team as industry voices through comment pieces, panels and awards entries.

  • Work with our marketing team, content creator, artist agents, partners and sponsors on joint campaigns.

  • Report on coverage, influencer reach and campaign results.

What we’re looking for

  • Essential:  At least 6 years’ previous PR experience in music, festivals or live events, with coverage to show for it.

  • Proven experience managing influencers or creator campaigns.

  • Examples of PR stunts, activations or campaigns that got people talking.

  • Creative, bold thinking, confident pitching ideas that haven't been done before, and the practical sense to make them happen.

  • Established relationships with music, festival, lifestyle and regional media.

  • Strong writing skills and the ability to switch tone between very different brands.

  • Organised and self-directed, able to run campaigns with minimal supervision.

  • Available for key announcement dates and on-site event days.

Nice to have

Experience with food and drink, wellbeing or motorsport press. Relationships with dance and electronic music titles. Experience of influencer contracts and ASA/CAP disclosure rules. Experience with trade press and awards.
