Holysseus Fly
Holysseus Fly (aka Holly Wellington) is a Bristol-based singer, songwriter, pianist and producer whose deeply expressive music blends alt-pop, soul, jazz and electronic textures into something strikingly personal and cinematic. Her work has been hailed by The Guardian as “one to watch” for its emotional depth, genre-blurring vision and fearless creativity.
Holysseus Fly’s journey into solo artistry is rooted in resilience and artistic honesty — she turned her own life-changing experience with breast cancer into powerful creative fuel, leading to her debut solo EP Birthpool and the follow-up A Red Sea, both praised for their heartfelt lyricism and immersive soundscapes.
In 2024 she supported Nick Mulvey on a sold-out UK tour, performed at Glastonbury, and delivered standout sets at festivals like Forwards Festival. She’s also been selected as a resident artist at Bristol Beacon, working with musicians behind shows for Madonna, Lorde and Florence + The Machine to evolve her live performance.
